1) BTC: Bitcoin

The first full form of BTC is Bitcoin. It is the most popular cryptocurrency. It was first released on 9 January 2009 by a group of unknown people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency. Hence, can be transferred peer to peer within the bitcoin network of users without the need of any central administrator. 2) BTC: Basic Training Certificate

The second full form of BTC is Basic Training Certificate. BTC is basically a certification course for Primary School Teachers (PRT). It is regulated by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). NCTE formulated the BTC course to empower the PRT teachers with the new methods of teaching and training primary school children.

The BTC course enables the PRT Teachers to learn new and innovative methods of teaching which helps them to teach their students more effectively. Teachers who have completed BTC are considered highly skilled and qualified to teach primary school children in India.

BTC Eligibility Criteria

If anyone wishes to pursue the Basic Training Certification then he/she must fulfill the eligibility criteria of the certification which is set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The eligibility for BTC is based on three things which are listed below :

  1. The Candidate must be 21 years of age when he/she enrolls for the course
  2. The candidate must have High School/Intermediate pass
  3. The Basic Training Certification is of 2 Years
